Batamhiacevan, a tongue spoken by limited number of people in the region, is facing serious threats. The main factor behind its decline is the lack of speakers. Moreover, future speakers are showing preference for alternative dialects, which are seen as more practical in the modern world. Initiatives have been undertaken to protect Batamhiacevan,
